Every traditional POS install includes one quiet liability: a computer in the back office that everything depends on. When it works, nobody thinks about it. What "cloud" changes in practice

With a cloud system, your menu, your prices, your sales history and your settings live on servers that are professionally maintained, backed up and monitored, not on a dusty PC under the desk. The till in your restaurant is just a screen looking at that data. If the till breaks, you sign in on another device and carry on. If the restaurant floods (it happens), your data is the one thing you don't lose.

It also changes who does the maintenance. Updates arrive on their own, overnight, the same way your phone updates. Nobody schedules a "system upgrade visit", and nobody pays for one.
