RestApp AI · On the roadmap
On the roadmapAI staff scheduling, built to match your forecasted demand
We're building an assistant that drafts next week's shift plan from your own sales patterns, so you start from a sensible draft instead of a blank grid. You review, adjust, and publish. Nothing goes live without your approval.

What it will surface
Staff Scheduling Optimization reads the demand patterns already in RestApp, such as order volume by day, hour, and location, and proposes a shift plan for the week ahead. The goal is simple: hand you a solid starting draft so you spend less time juggling a spreadsheet and more time on the call only you can make. This feature is on our roadmap and is further out than our other AI work, because doing real scheduling optimization well takes care. It isn't live yet. When it arrives, it will suggest and you will decide.
Clear suggestions, the decision is yours
Every suggestion is yours to approve, edit or dismiss. RestApp AI proposes, you decide.

Friday and Saturday evenings look busier than usual next week, so I've drafted extra coverage for those shifts. Take a look?
Tuesday lunch is typically quiet, so I've suggested trimming one shift there. You can adjust before publishing.
I've drafted next week's roster from your recent order patterns. Nothing is published yet, it's all yours to edit.
Your new branch now has enough order history for me to suggest a starting shift plan. Want to review a draft?
Why it matters
A draft, not a decree
It proposes a full shift plan you can review line by line. Every shift stays editable, and nothing is published until you approve it. You stay in control of who works when.
Grounded in your real demand
Plans are built from the order and sales data already in RestApp, so coverage is matched to when your restaurant is actually busy rather than a generic template.
Less time on the scheduling grid
Instead of starting from an empty roster every week, you start from a sensible draft and refine it. The aim is to cut the busywork, not to take the decision away from you.
Your data stays yours
This is built with privacy in mind and KVKK/GDPR in scope. Your business data isn't used to train models shared with other restaurants.
How it works
Forecast the week
Using your historical order patterns in RestApp, the assistant estimates expected demand per day, daypart, and location for the week ahead.
Draft a shift plan
It then proposes a staffing plan matched to that forecast, suggesting coverage where demand is high and trimming it where it's quiet.
Review and edit
You see the draft, adjust shifts, swap people, and account for availability, roles, and anything the data can't know. The plan is yours to shape.
Approve and publish
When the plan looks right, you publish it. Nothing reaches your team until you've signed off. The assistant suggests, you approve.
Questions & answers
Is staff scheduling optimization available now?+
Not yet. It's on our roadmap and is further out than our other AI features, because building real, dependable scheduling optimization takes time to get right. We'd rather ship something genuinely useful than rush it. You can join early access to be among the first to try it and help shape how it works.
Will the AI decide my staffing for me?+
No. It drafts a proposed shift plan and explains the demand behind it. You review, edit, and publish, and the final call is always yours. Think of it as a starting point that saves you time, not an autopilot.
What data is the plan based on?+
It uses the order and sales data you already have in RestApp, such as volume by day, hour, and location, to forecast demand and suggest coverage. The more history RestApp holds for your venue, the more useful the draft will be.
Is my business data safe and used responsibly?+
Yes, that's a priority. We're building this with KVKK and GDPR in scope, and your business data isn't used to train models shared with other restaurants. Your data stays yours.
